About Us

ESG Herefordshire is an essential part of Herefordshire Council’s overall vision for a brighter future for the people who live and work in Hereford city, and right across the county.  It was set up in late 2005 by Herefordshire Council with financial backing from Advantage West Midlands to lead the regeneration of 100 acres of central Hereford.

As the delivery vehicle for Herefordshire Council’s vision, ESG is spearheading the development of this major regeneration plan to revitalise Hereford and its economy, bringing new jobs, new affordable homes, new and improved leisure and community facilities, as well as extensive business benefits.

The future success of Herefordshire is dependent on a total package of measures, which are intrinsically linked. This includes plans to deal with the prevention of flooding and new roads to address traffic and transport issues.
