Herefordshire Council is the local government authority for the county of Herefordshire and is driving the development plans forward to revitalise Hereford city centre. The council’s economic and community services team is responsible for overseeing the project and recently secured top prize at the Regen WM awards in Birmingham. The awards promote regeneration excellence in the region, and the council has been recognised for its long-term vision and leadership in helping to ensure that Herefordshire is well placed to thrive as the country comes out of recession.

Advantage West Midlands (AWM) is the regional development agency (RDA) for the West Midlands, and is one of nine RDAs in England established to transform the English regions through sustainable economic development. Its role is to lead the West Midlands towards greater economic prosperity and works alongside partners to build upon the region’s many strengths.
